Cooking fever has swept the nation, and as more and more cooking shows are popping up on television, more amateur chefs are being given the opportunity to be the next Rocco DiSpirito or Serena Palumbo. Whether they be learning how to cook delectable dishes for a dinner party or dabbling with gourmet dishes, amateurs tuning in to learn from television chefs are also learning the importance of keeping dishes piping hot and fresh. A wire chafing rack is a great tool to keep food hot and fresh until it is time for it to be served.

‘Rocco DiSpirito to keep food hot with new reality show’

Chef Rocco DiSpirito, the cookbook author and star of shows Dancing With the Stars and Rocco Gets Real, is hosting a new show on Bravo called “Rocco’s Dinner Party,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

DiSpirito’s new show will feature four contestants competing to come up with a dinner-party menu, which will be approved by DiSpirito and a panel of his guests. The winner of the competition will walk home with cold, hard cash, the news source reports.

The cook has a long history of cooking endeavors. He was the chef of the acclaimed restaurant Union Pacific in New York. He also appeared on the NBC program “The Restaurant,” and the web show “Into the Heart of Italy,” where he toured Italy to find the greatest dishes.

Each episode will feature a differently themed dinner party. The contestants will vary in background, from self-taught chefs to restaurant owners, according to UPI.com.

Dinner parties are a fun and creative way to serve hot foods to friends and family. If hosts are cooking up their own dinner party menus, they’ll want to make sure all of their meals are served piping hot.

‘Serena Palumbo knows how to keep food hot’

The recent premier of The Next Food Network Star brought several aspiring television chefs into the limelight. The show’s resident cutie, Serena Palumbo, may have less experience than some of the other hosts on the show, but that doesn’t mean her food is any less delicious.

Palumbo taught herself how to cook while growing up in southern Italy, according to the Food Network.

The 31-year-old gourmet has an interesting work history – she is currently a corporate attorney, and at one time was a ballerina. She enjoys using unusual ingredients, and hosts an online instructional cooking show called “Cooking in Manhattan,” which is featured on YouTube.

Palumbo honed her culinary skills while entertaining friends in her small New York City apartment. Her internet cooking show is meant to teach budding chefs how to prepare delicious meals while confined to a small urban kitchen, according to her blog, SerenaPalumbo.com.

Along with the other chefs on the new program, Palumbo may know that the food most likely to impress judges will be served up nice and hot. Wire chafing racks are a great way to keep food hot, fresh, and delicious.
